I would like to have my Uterus removed?

I am 39, I have 1 daughter and do not want anymore children. Though my daughter is my pride and joy and I would not have changed a thing, she wasn't planned. I have had female problems all of my life since puberty, my mother the same. She had a hysterectomy at 33. Can you make a Dr take yours out? I also would keep my ovaries as long as they didn't find anything wrong with them. My other thoughts are of menopause, I have enough mental/emotional/hormonal problems as it is. What dr do you go to see, I see most of them so 1 more won't hurt!
