How to tell your parents youve been asked out?

You should just find a good time to get your parents to sit and talk with you. Just say hey mom/dad I need to tell you guys something real quick can we talk? And of course they'll say ok. Then tell them you are getting older, turning 14 now and you feel you have shown you are responsible enough to date. Tell them the reason you bring this up, is because you were asked out. Ask them if they wouldnt mind letting you go on a little "trial date" and see how it goes. If they dont like it and dont see you fit as ready to date, then so be it. But if all goes well, maybe you can start dating. Be delicate, but confident about it. Good luck. No matter what they say remember they are your parents, and they love you.
