How was the french revolution an enlightenment revolution?
The French Revolution used Enlightenment ideals, those of freedom, liberation. They would no longer put up with the incompetent crown to the point of bloodshed. John LOCKE. (he is always the answer) The Social Contract. They were also no longer religiously unified.
