Need recipe for czech potato dumplings. The ones that are dense and not fluffy.?
My grandmother recently ped away and i am looking for a recipe for dumplings. She said it was the czech way of making them. I know they were fairly simple. She made duck dumplings and sauerkraut twice a year. I dont remember exactly how she made the dumplings. I know they were pretty basic. The only thing i really REMEMBER was getting all of the water out of the potatoes add salt and that was pretty much it. I know im missing something though. They wrere dense dumplings and they were the best to compliment the duck and sauerkraut. Anybody know what im talking about and can direct where to get the recipe from? Thanks
